About ChangeThe Change Project Mission - As a team of filmmakers, artists, activist and community organizers we are dedicated to art that activates direct social change. The Change Project is committed to providing creative content that helps foster a culture of participation and supports a change in the way individuals, communities and organizations respond to violence. The themes inherent in our work are education, service and community as a means to nonviolence and media content as a portal to that end.

We are in post production on 3 films. Each film stems from the documentation of a cross country journey of 27 strangers, at the height of the war and on the eve of election season, educating citizens about the 200 year old bipartisan effort to create a US Department of Peace and Nonviolence.

Change Is Gonna Come - a television version that tells the deeply personal story of 3 generations of women who set out to change the world and find themselves while in the process.

Long Time Coming - a feature version focusing on The Department of Peace and the effects of violence on everyday Americans set to be used as a social change networking tool.

Just Like The River - an educational version featuring the interpersonal violence experienced along the journey and the insights of experts in the nonviolence field set to be available for down load.
